Description: 4 Points of the Diamond™ Competitive Player Sponsorship is an award for a female athlete at varying levels of her softball career, is a member of Alliance and desires to continue to play in college. This student-athlete exemplifies positive attitude, an appetite to learn & high potential in her future to continue playing at a college level. Sponsorship benefits may include financial assistance for training, competition expenses, equipment, and travel ball dues. Sponsorship will range from $500 – $2,000 and the number of sponsorships provided for each category is contingent on availability of funds.

In order to be awarded, applicants must meet the eligibility criteria as described below for 4 Points of the Diamond™ Competitive Player Sponsorship

1. Softball Female Athlete Ages 8-18 (HS softball players that have not made a verbal commitment to a college)
2. Be enrolled in school (K-12th Grade)
3. Proof of Report Card/Transcript (GPA taken under consideration)
4. Must be an Alliance Member

Award categories include:

1. Futures Sponsorship – an award given to a young girl that is in the first 3 years of her softball career.
2. Rising Star Sponsorship – an award given to a female athlete that has played over 3 years of softball at the grassroots/recreation level and is ready to embark or transition into the travel ball level.
3. Elite Sponsorship –an award given to a female athlete that is in her junior or senior year of high school embarking on her recruiting journey and has not committed to a college yet.
