Softball Leagues
At the Natasha Watley Foundation,
we are committed to fostering character development through our 4 Points of the Diamond™ Curriculum. This comprehensive approach focuses on building character, community, competition and competitive spirit. We achieve this through a variety of programs designed to teach softball fundamentals and life skills, all taught through our Coach Mentors who are the cornerstone of our program.
By integrating character development into all aspects of our programming, the Natasha Watley Foundation aims to create well-rounded athletes who are equipped to succeed in sports and in life. Our goal is to break down barriers and provide opportunities for girls and women to thrive as leaders both on and off the diamond.
Softball Skills Clinics & Camps
CLINICS
Our clinics offer targeted training sessions that focus on specific aspects of the game, such as hitting, pitching, and fielding. Led by our Coach Mentors, these clinics help young athletes hone their skills and gain a competitive edge. Additionally, we integrate lessons on resilience, discipline, and sportsmanship.
4 Points of the Diamond Camps™
Our camps provide an immersive experience where participants receive hands-on instruction in softball techniques and strategies during a five day experience. Beyond skill development, we emphasize teamwork, leadership, and personal growth, ensuring that each participant leaves with enhanced confidence and a deeper love for the game
We want our participants to leave our camps inspired and empowered to pursue their dreams in softball and beyond. Our programs are designed to offer an inside look at the world of collegiate softball and the opportunities it presents.
LEAGUE PLAY
Through organized league play, participants have the opportunity to put their skills into practice in a competitive yet supportive environment. We partner with existing leagues and provide coaching through our Coach Mentors that not only enhances athletic performance, but also reinforces the importance of character and integrity on and off the field.
Our leagues are designed to promote fair play, teamwork, and a sense of community.
Scholarships & Sponsorships
The NWF offers both scholarships and sponsorships, in partnership with our sponsors and partners, to provide financial assistance to girls in need. Scholarships & sponsorships range in funding amount, and they can often be used in a variety of different ways. Whether you’re looking to apply or donate, learn more below!
Special Events/Experiences
Providing participants with unique experiences is one of our favorite parts of the Foundation’s work.
Our participants have the extraordinary chance to meet college softball players and coaches, gaining insights and advice from those who have excelled at the highest levels of the sport. We organize trips to collegiate softball games, where participants can witness the intensity, skill, and teamwork of college-level play. Experiencing the excitement of the game atmosphere and seeing the dedication of college athletes up close motivates our participants to envision themselves reaching similar heights. These interactions provide invaluable inspiration and firsthand knowledge about what it takes to succeed both on the field and in the classroom.
