Natasha Watley Foundation – Youth Empowerment Through Sport

The Michael Romero Dads and Daughter Scholarship

Description:Our Dads play an important role in developing a young softball player’s life. Exemplary sports Dads encourage strong character skills when navigating their Dad and Daughter’s softball journey. We want to celebrate our impactful Dads who are caring, committed, and collaborative with their daughters.

Michael Romero personifies these qualities. We are proud to partner with the Michael Romero Foundation and wife Melissa Romero to recognize Coach Romero who raised 4 incredible children, three of whom were softball daughters.

NWF and Natasha Watley greatly admire and value the power of the dad-daughter relationship in the sport of softball. Many young girls develop their softball skills, determination, and love of the sport from their Fathers. We are extremely excited to offer a scholarship specifically for Dads and their Softball Daughters in honor of one of Softball’s greatest Dads, Michael Romero, Dad to Sierra, Sydney, Sophia, and Michael.
